Artist Stitadhi Rath was born into a wealthy family in Buguda on April 14, 1977. His parents are Mr. Kambupani Rath and Mrs. Satyabhama Rath. His mother, a talented Alpana artist, was his first art teacher. ​One of the attractions of Buguda is the Biranchinarayan Temple, which is famous for its beautiful mural paintings and intricate wood carvings. The temple's stunning artwork greatly inspired Stitadhi Rath. ​Stitadhi Rath is a renowned young fine artist from Odisha. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Utkal University (Odisha) in 1997, a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Gulbarga University (Karnataka) in 2000, and a PhD from Utkal University of Culture in 2023. ​He has participated in numerous state, national, and international art exhibitions and camps, and he has won many state and national awards. He attended an international symposium in Penza, Russia, in 2014 and visited London in 2016. His talents include painting, drawing, mask making, statue making, printmaking, still and video camera operation, video film editing, acting, and scriptwriting.
